Sharing photos online is great — until someone reposts them without credit. A watermark is the simplest way to show who made an image. This guide shows how to add one in under a minute, entirely in your browser.

Step 1: Open the watermark tool

Go to the Add Watermark to Image tool and drop in one or more photos. You can watermark a whole batch at once — every image gets the same settings.

  • Text — type your name or © Your Studio, pick a colour and set the size.
  • Logo — upload a PNG with a transparent background for the cleanest look.

Step 3: Position it

Pick one of nine positions, or choose Tile to repeat the watermark across the whole picture. Tiled watermarks are much harder to crop out.

Step 4: Fine-tune and download

Adjust opacity (40–60% is a good start), rotation and margin. The live preview updates as you go. When it looks right, download each image or everything as a ZIP.

Tips for a watermark that works

  1. Keep it readable but subtle. A watermark that dominates the photo distracts from your work.
  2. Use the same watermark everywhere so people recognise it.
  3. Compress afterwards. Run the result through the image compressor to make it load faster online.
